The SPORT 720 remains true to its basic principle, but has been completely re-created for the model year 2022. The heart of this bike is a newly developed frame, in combination with the new BOSCH SMART SYSTEM. With this self-contained BOSCH system, easily recognisable by the new control unit, you are ready for the digital future.
The system also includes the KIOX 300 display, the BOSCH PERFORMANCE LINE CX motor, a 4A charger and the most powerful BOSCH POWERTUBE battery ever (750WH) for even more range. In addition, the EBIKE FLOW APP opens the door to the connected world and connects you with your bike. Thanks to the masterful work of our engineers, the proven KTM frame geometry has been retained despite the new increase in battery size and capacity. Removing and reinserting the battery is easier than ever before. POWER TUBE TOP LOADER (PTTL) is the name of KTM's own innovation for this user-friendly battery handling.
SHIMANO offers another highlight with the LINK GLIDE shifting technology. These shifting components, specially developed for eBike use, ensure precise and smooth shifting processes even under high loads. The result is a long lasting, three times more durable drivetrain.
Five Selectable Riding Modes:
- Turbo - Maximum support up to the highest cadence for a sporty riding style.
- Sport / eMTB - There is strong support for universal use for fast driving and sporty driving style.
- Tour - Even support for long distance rides
- Eco - Efficient support with maximum savings for the longest possible range.
- Off - No support, but with access to all display functions.

Designed for use on-road, paved country roads, gravel paths and stretches with moderate ascents/descents. They can also be ridden on uneven terrain. Please note that the tyres may lose contact with the ground. Jumps must not exceed a height of 15cm.
Approved use
For on-road, well-surfaced gravel paths and cycleways.
Prohibited use
Not suitable for offroad use, use as a mountain bike or for performing various freestyle tricks. Although some of these bicycles do have a suspension system, they are intended merely for comfort and are not suitable for rough terrain.
